In observance of Independence Day, Saturday, July 4, the Capital Area Transportation Authority (CATA) will not operate regular Saturday services — Fixed-Route, Spec-Tran, Rural Service, CATA Rydz, Connector and Redi-Ride. Limited holiday service will be available from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. for customers with pre-reserved trips.

In observance of Memorial Day, the Capital Area Transportation Authority (CATA) will be closed Monday, May 25. CATA’s Fixed-Route, Spec-Tran, Rural Service, CATA Rydz, Connector, Redi-Ride and Shopping Bus services will not operate.  

The Paratransit Office will remain open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Memorial Day to schedule rides needed after the holiday. No same-day trips will be scheduled. To schedule a ride, call 517-394-2282, visit the MySpectran webpage, or use the MyRideCATA app.

The Capital Area Transportation Authority will close its regular operations on Thursday, Nov. 27, in observance of Thanksgiving Day. CATA’s Fixed Route, Spec-Tran, Rural Service, Connector, Redi-Ride, Lot Link, Night Owl, Shopping Bus and CATA Rydz will not operate.  

Limited holiday service will operate 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. for customers who have pre-reserved trips. Ride reservations will be accepted through Nov. 24. Call 517-394-2282 to reserve a ride.

Advance reservations are required for those in need of transportation on Dec. 25. Curb-to-curb service will be available to the general public from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on a limited basis and will be restricted to the Spec-Tran service boundaries.
