On-demand curb-to-curb service connecting major Michigan State University commuter parking lots with any campus destination in East Lansing, providing convenient student transportation when you need it
"We'll Come to You" services Curb-to-curb transportation on MSU's campus
Lot Link provides on-demand evening and weekend campus service between MSU commuter parking lots 80, 83, 89 and 91 and other campus locations. Rides are limited to campus only and each trip must begin or end at one of the four parking lots.
Service Details
Call 517.432.8888 (or 2.8888 from any campus phone) when you are ready for a ride. A small bus will arrive within 20 minutes to take you to your campus destination. No advance reservations are accepted.
Hours of Service
Evening and weekend shuttle service operates:
- Monday through Friday 7 PM until 2 AM
- Saturday & Sunday 9 AM until 2 AM
Fares
Student fare is 60 cents with a valid student ID. The regular fare is $1.25. Student Semester passes, 31-Day passes and 10-Ride cards are also accepted.
Spartan Service Dates
Night Owl is a part of Spartan Service. It operates only during MSU fall and spring semesters:
- Monday, Aug. 18 – Sunday, Dec. 14, 2025
- Monday, Jan. 12 – Sunday, May 3, 2026
(Campus routes and services do not operate the week of Spring Break except for Route 32)
Holiday Service
CATA does not operate on New Year's Day, Easter Sunday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day or Christmas Day unless noted as limited service.
