Following CATA Board approval on Aug. 19, 2026, fare changes for CATA Connector and Rural services will take effect Monday, Aug. 24, 2026.

The one-way fare for Connector Service will be $1.25 for regular riders and $0.60 for discounted-fare riders.

CATA Rural Service will also adopt a simplified fare structure. The distance-based fare for trips over 10 miles will be eliminated, establishing a flat one-way fare of $2.25 for regular riders and $1.00 for discounted-fare riders on all trips, regardless of distance.

In conjunction with these fare changes, select CATA punch passes will feature updated designs, and Connector Service will offer a dedicated punch pass.
