The route less traveled

CATA’s service area extends far beyond the communities most people associate with public transit.

CATA Rural Service (CRS) provides advance-reservation transportation in areas of Ingham County where traditional fixed-route bus service is not available. Using smaller vehicles and flexible scheduling, CRS connects rural residents to the broader CATA network.

As one of CATA’s curb-to-curb services, CRS helps ensure mobility remains accessible in both urban and rural communities.

For more details or to schedule a ride, visit the CATA Rural Service webpage or call 517-394-2282.
