Lansing School District Student Information

On behalf of all Eastern, Everett and Sexton high school students, CATA is committed to the inclusion of Lansing School District high school students among our ridership. As such, CATA embraces student riders and looks forward to transporting them to and from Lansing School District high schools effective Monday, Aug. 28, 2023.

CATA’s goal is to provide information and resources to student riders and families to help them understand our system and rules so that they can successfully ride CATA. On this page, you will find information on how to get to and from Lansing's three high schools, as well as trip planning, schedule and route information. Please review all available resources and contact a CATA Customer Experience Representative should you or your student have additional questions or concerns by calling 517-394-1000.

The CATA Transportation Center in downtown Lansing, the main transfer point for all routes serving the Lansing area, will be staffed with security and resource officers in addition to AmBUSsadors – all who will assist student riders.
