Weekly On-site Open Interviews

CATA will be hosting weekly open interviews for bus drivers so you can drop by when the time is right for you.

Every Wednesday - April 10 through May 8

10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

CATA Administrative Offices (4615 Tranter Street, Lansing)

Apply prior to arriving for an interview. Please bring a current resume when attending an open session. 

*New drivers will earn $17.50 per hour during training and $24.93 per hour upon the completion of probation. Additional wage increases are earned after six months.


The Eaton County Transportation Authority will host a job fair to recruit bus operators. No experience necessary; EATRAN offers paid training. 

Thursday, May 9

9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Capital Area Michigan Works Peckham Facility (945 Reynolds Road, Charlotte)

On-site interviews will be conducted throughout the day. Free parking is available.

A job description and online application are available at www.eatran.com. Applicants must present a clean driving record, when applicable, pass a drug and alcohol screening, and a physical and background check.
