The CATA Board of Directors establishes policy and sets the direction for CATA operations.
About the Board
The Board consists of representatives from member jurisdictions that provide funding for CATA operations — including the Cities of Lansing and East Lansing, Townships of Delhi, Lansing and Meridian, and voting representatives from Ingham County and Michigan State University.

Observing a Board Meeting Online
For those unable to attend in person or who prefer a remote option, members of the public can observe the meeting virtually via video or audio conferencing. Public comment not available.
Closed captioning is available for all virtual meetings. The meeting link will be posted by 12 p.m. on the Monday before the meeting in the corresponding calendar event located above.
Observers may use any device that supports the video-conferencing app or, when prompted after clicking the link, choose to join the meeting through a default browser, if applicable. Those who choose to access the meeting through the video-conferencing app may be prompted to download the app to observe. Members of the public choosing to observe the meeting electronically will be muted for the entirety of the meeting but will be able to view and hear all Board conversations.
Providing Public Comment
To provide public comment during a Board meeting, members of the public must attend the meeting in person.
Individuals with a qualifying disability may request reasonable accommodation, under the Americans with Disabilities Act, to provide public comment in writing prior to a scheduled Board meeting. Here's how:
- Be sure to include with your request for reasonable accommodation your public comment.
- All requests for reasonable accommodation must be received by 4 p.m. the day of the Board meeting.
- If the Board approves your request for reasonable accommodation, your public comment will be read during the public comment portion of the meeting.
- Submit your request for reasonable accommodation in writing through the Reasonable Accommodation form.

- Location: Lansing Center Governor's Room, 333 E. Michigan Ave., Lansing, MI 48933 (unless otherwise noted).
- Transportation: Route 1 offers direct and frequent service to the Lansing Center.
