Bikeshare

The goal of the Bikeshare Feasibility Study is to understand how the Greater Lansing region can support a bike-share system, including the optimal characteristics of a successful bike-share program. This study should help lead the region toward a seamless bike-share vendor selection. Options and recommendations for each aspect of a bike-share system are expected. The primary question that must be answered is whether the study will recommend a dockless or dock-based system. This question will be answered through demand mapping, stakeholder outreach and feedback from the public.

How can you help?

1. Take our bikeshare survey
Then
2. Add your suggestions for bikeshare locations.

The consultant for the study, Toole Design Group, met with CATA, a Steering Committee and regional stakeholders from September 10 – September 13.  Below are copies of the notes summarizing the discussions at those meetings.
