CATA’s fixed routes are numbered in accordance to the geographic area they serve.
Routes 1-16 serve Lansing. Most travel to the CATA Transportation Center in downtown Lansing for convenient transfers to these same routes.
As the Capitol city, Lansing hosts numerous events each year. When special events such as races or parades occur in the downtown area, CATA’s routes may be impacted by road closures. In such cases, established event detours specific to the downtown area would go into effect.
