LCC Main Campus Service
- CATA’s bus service to LCC’s main campus operates 7 days a week.
- 12 CATA fixed-routes serve LCC’s main campus.
- CATA buses make over 200 trips to LCC each weekday.
- Service to LCC ‘s main campus begins as early as 5:30 a.m.
- 9 routes serve the LCC campus after 7 p.m. – some as late as 11 p.m..
- The main boarding area is located on Shiawassee and Washington Square.
Bus Passes
Purchase passes that provide unlimited rides for a semester or 31-day period at Phil’s Store on the second floor of the Gannon Building. Additional CATA passes are also available for purchase.

Schedules can be found in racks located at the following main campus buildings:
- Gannon Building – second floor west entrance and parking office
- Arts & Sciences (A & S) - lobby
- Mackinaw Building – break room
- Technology & Learning Center (TLC) - lobby
- Gibson’s Books & Beans
Service Maps
CATA’s fixed routes are numbered in accordance with the geographic area they serve.
Routes 20-26 serve the east side of our service area which includes East Lansing, Michigan State University, Okemos and Haslett. These routes travel to MSU’s campus where customers can transfer among these routes or to MSU campus routes (Routes 30-39) that operate during fall and spring semesters.
LCC West Campus Service
Route 12 W. Michigan/Waverly/LCC West is your Star Line to LCC’s West campus Monday through Friday during the academic year. Route 12 travels between the main campus and west campus.
Service operates weekdays from 7 a.m. until 10:40 p.m.

LCC East Campus Service
Route 22 MSU/Haslett/Okemos and Route 23 MSU/Okemos/Haslett provide year-round service to the LCC East campus by means of Hagadorn Road. East campus is a short walk east of Hagadorn Road on Eyde Parkway.
Service operates Monday through Fridays from 6 a.m. until 10 p.m. and Saturdays from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m.
