The Arts Shuttle

CATA is providing shuttle service for the East Lansing Art Festival and MSU Arts & Crafts Show May 18-19, 2024. Park for free at MSU's Commuter Lot 89 and ride CATA to both events. 

Buses will run approximately every 10-15 minutes between MSU Lot 89 on Farm Lane and stops on Grand River Avenue. All fixed-route buses are equipped with bike racks and wheelchair ramps or lifts.

Service Hours

Shuttle service operating hours:

  • Saturday, May 18, 2024 from 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Sunday, May 19, 2024 from 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Buses will run approximately every 10-15 minutes between MSU Lot 89 on Farm Lane and stops on Grand River Avenue.

Cost to Ride

  • Round-trip fare is 50 cents on any of The Arts Shuttle buses. 
  • Exact change is required.
  • Children under 42 inches ride free with an adult.

Transfers

  • Transfers to other buses can be made at boarding centers or stops on the route.
  • Request a free transfer ticket for any fixed-route from the driver on your first bus. 
  • Transfers are valid for two hours and can be used twice in one direction.

Turn-by-Turn Directions

  • Depart Lot 89 to Farm Lane
  • Left (north) on Farm Lane to Service Road
  • Right (east) on Service Road to Hagadorn Road
  • Right (south) on Hagadorn, performing “Michigan Left” on southbound Hagadorn Road to northbound Hagadorn Road
  • Left (north) on Hagadorn Road to Grand River Avenue
  • Left (west) on Grand River Avenue/Michigan Avenue, performing a “Michigan Left” on westbound Michigan Avenue (past Harrison Road) to eastbound Michigan Avenue
  • Left (east) on Michigan Avenue to Harrison Road
  • Right (south) on Harrison Road to Wilson Road
  • Left (east) on Wilson Road to Farm Lane
  • Right (south) on Farm Lane to Lot 89 (traveling counter clockwise along Lot 89’s perimeter road)
