Voting Just Got Easier with CATA through Nov. 3
Election Day is Nov. 3. There are multiple ways you can cast your vote, and CATA is here to help.
Do you plan to vote in person? Ride CATA to the polls for FREE Nov. 3. No ID is required to ride, just tell the driver that you're going to vote.
If you plan to vote by absentee ballot, complete an application to receive your ballot in the mail by clicking here. You can also obtain the application form by visiting your local clerk's office.
In order for your vote to count, mail your absentee ballot by Oct. 19, take it to your clerk's office or deposit it in a secure drop box in your municipality. There are drop boxes available at CATA facilities.
An official ballot drop box is located outside the south entrance of the CATA Transportation Center in downtown Lansing, and another is at the main entrance of CATA’s Administrative Offices in South Lansing. A third ballot box is available outside the MSU-CATA Transportation Center at Ramp 1 on Shaw Lane. All locations are monitored 24/7 by surveillance cameras. Ballots are collected daily.
