Lansing, MI—Santa has managed to fit some local bus trips into his busy schedule next week as CATA continues its popular Santa Free Rides program. Many families look forward to this annual tradition of riding festive CATA buses for free when Santa is at the wheel.

"Each year we hear from families anxious to ride with Santa," explained Sandy Draggoo, CATA CEO/Executive Director. "This has become an annual family holiday tradition for many, and we are delighted to be part of the festivities. Santa helped out on our MSU campus routes last week, and he was a huge hit with the students. We offer this program across many of our services so everyone can take part."

Santa Free Rides take place between Monday, December 16 and Sunday, December 22.  Over the seven-day period, look for Santa on various fixed-route buses, the Entertainment Express trolley, Spec-Tran buses, and Delhi and Meridian Redi-Ride vehicles. View Santa's route-by-route schedule, or call CATA Customer Service at (517) 394-1000.
