Public Meeting Notice
Proposed Williamston/Webberville Connector Service Changes
Effective Aug. 27, 2018
CATA will host a public meeting to present route and timetable changes effective Aug. 27, 2018. The following service changes are included in the proposal:
Williamston/Webberville Connector
- The route will be extended north of Grand River Avenue on Putnam Road to provide service to the new Williamston Library, located in the Williamston Middle School.
- Service will run 30-35 minutes later (until 6:15 p.m. Monday-Friday and until 5:05 p.m. Saturday) to accommodate the added travel time to the new Williamston Library.
- Departure times will change considerably.

Representatives from CATA will be present at the open-forum public meeting listed below. There will be no formal presentation, which will allow CATA staff to meet and interact with attendees on an individual basis. Public comment is welcome.

Service on the Williamston/Webberville Connector will be extended until 8:20 p.m. the evening of the public meeting for those needing transportation to and from the Township Hall. Proposed Fixed-Route Service Changes
Effective Aug. 27, 2018
CATA will host a series of public meetings to present proposed fixed-route service changes effective Aug. 27, 2018. The following routes are included in the proposal:
Route 1 Sunday service added frequency
Route 2 Weekend service added frequency
Route 7 Added frequency all day; routing changes
Route 16 Monday-Sunday increased service to 30-minute frequency
Route 17 Mid-day downtown circulator
Route 20 Routing changes at Trappers Cove, Gateway and on Technology Drive
Meridian Redi-Ride Extended hours and fare increase
Details of the proposed changes will be available online after May 7, 2018 at cata.org/Aug2018changes.

*Meridian Redi-Ride service will be extended three and a half hours to accomadate those attending the Meridian Township public meeting. Meridian Redi-Ride will conclude service at 8:30 on Thursday, May 31, 2018. CATA requires that trips be scheduled a minimum of four hours in advance of the desired pickup times. Trips are scheduled in the order requests are received and are limited to availability of space on the bus. View more information about Meridian Redi-Ride.

Current Sunday service:
8:50 a.m. – 7:30 p.m. with buses departing every 16 minutes all day (every 20 minutes during MSU breaks)
Proposed Sunday service:
8:50 a.m. – 7:30 p.m. with buses departing every 13-15 minutes all day (every 15-16 minutes during MSU breaks)
Route 2 South Washington/Pleasant Grove
Current Saturday service:
8:30 a.m. – 10:20 p.m. with buses departing every 60 minutes all day (with a break in service early afternoon)
Proposed Saturday service:
8:30 a.m. – 10:20 p.m. with buses departing 30 minutes all day
Current Sunday service:
9:30 a.m. – 6:20 p.m. with buses departing every 60 minutes all day
Proposed Sunday service:
