EATRAN hosts job fair March 14 to recruit bus operators

EATON COUNTY, Mich., March 8 — Look to the road for your dream career. The Eaton County Transportation Authority will host a job fair to recruit bus operators Thursday, March 14, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Capital Area Michigan Works site in the Peckham Facility, 945 Reynolds Road, Charlotte, Mich.
No experience necessary; EATRAN offers paid training. On-site interviews will be conducted throughout the day. Free parking is available.
“This is our fifth job fair since January 2023,” said EATRAN Executive Director Bradley T. Funkhouser. “We’ve successfully hired and trained a number of drivers. Our goal is to continue to onboard more drivers as we grow our workforce and deliver public transportation services that meet the needs of our county.”
A job description and online application are available at eatran.com. Applicants must present a clean driving record, when applicable, pass a drug and alcohol screening, and a physical and background check.
