CATA to Host Job Fair for Bus Drivers, Mechanics

Look to the road for your dream career. The Capital Area Transportation Authority is hosting a job fair, Thursday, Sept. 5, 2024, in search of bus drivers and mechanics. On-site interviews will be conducted throughout the day.
No experience is necessary for bus operator applicants as CATA offers paid training. Drivers receive wage increases after probation and after six months of employment. Mechanics receive a $7,500 signing bonus and must meet certain requirements. Job descriptions and online applications can be found at www.cata.org/drive.
The event will be held at the Marriott East Lansing at University Place, 300 M.A.C. Avenue, in the Beaumont Room, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Free parking is available in the parking ramp adjacent to the hotel. Tickets will be validated on site.
