CATA shuttles to the Ingham County Fair

CATA, in partnership with Ingham County, will provide transportation to the Ingham County Fair, Monday, July 29, to Saturday, Aug. 3.
Patrons can board the service at the CATA Transportation Center in downtown Lansing and travel to the fairgrounds in Mason via I-496 and US-127. The express service will begin at 3:30 p.m. Monday and 12:30 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, running hourly until 9:30 p.m. Return trips from the fairgrounds to the CTC will run hourly from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Monday, and from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. “Providing accessible transportation to events like the Ingham County Fair is central to our mission,” said CATA Chief Executive Officer Bradley T. Funkhouser. “We’re proud to offer this service again to help remove transportation barriers for our community.”
CATA will accept all fixed-route bus passes and cash as payment for the $1.25 regular/60-cent discounted one-way fare for the shuttle. Children under 42 inches, accompanied by an adult, ride free. For a full schedule of Ingham County Fair attractions and events, visit fair.ingham.org.
