Fall Service Changes

As previously announced, fall service changes go into effect Monday, Aug. 31 on Routes 1, 5, 7, 14 and 20. CATA will also amend established Spartan Service levels on a number of routes to align with the changes occurring on MSU’s campus over the 2020 fall semester.

The enhancements and reductions made to these routes, which are explained below, will not be reflected in any online schedule information until Sept. 28 due to last minute service changes. This includes service information provided via Transit app, CATAnow and cata.org schedules and trip planning pages. Real-time data will also not be accessible until Sept. 28.

The changes below are published in print schedules distributed in display racks at all CATA facilities, in buses and at various business locations throughout the area. There will be no print schedules produced for fall semester service levels on Routes 26, 32, 34, 35 or 36. Information posted at the CATA Transportation Center and at key boarding points and bus stops throughout the system will also reflect the new service levels. Audio versions of the newly enhanced routes are also available at cata.org.
