CATA closes for Labor Day holiday
In observance of Labor Day, the Capital Area Transportation Authority’s (CATA) buses will not operate on Monday, Sept. 2, 2019. This applies to all CATA services, including Fixed-Route, Spec-Tran, Redi-Ride, Connector, Rural Service, Night Owl and Shopping Bus.
On MSU’s campus, Sunday service (Routes 34-36 and Lot Link) will conclude at approximately 11:30 p.m. Sept. 1. Lot Link will resume Monday, Sept. 2, at 3 p.m. and run until 2 a.m. Tuesday to provide transportation from Lots 80, 83, 89 and 91 to student housing complexes. The Night Owl will operate from
2 a.m. until 7 a.m. Tuesday morning. Routes 30-33, 38 and 39 resume at 7 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 3.
The Spec-Tran office will remain open on Labor Day to accept reservations from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. for rides on and after Tuesday. Spec-Tran rides can also be arranged online at myspectran.org.
