Categories: General

The Capital Area Transportation Authority (CATA) will implement service changes during Michigan State University’s spring break. The changes will be effective Monday, March 2, through Sunday, March 8.

Service operating on MSU’s campus will change as follows:
  • Weekday service (Routes 30, 31, 33 and 39) will conclude late Friday/early Saturday morning, Feb. 27 and 28.
  • Weekend service (Routes 34, 35, 36 and Lot Link) will conclude early Monday morning, March 2.
  • Night Owl will conclude Monday morning, March 2.
  • Routes 20, 22 and 23: These routes will travel into the MSU-CTC/Ramp 1 while continuing to serve the Shaw and Farm boarding area.
  • Route 26 – Abbot/Chandler: Weekday service will operate on a 45-minute frequency rather than every 15 minutes throughout each day and conclude at 7:15 p.m. Saturday service ends at 7:15 p.m. There is no change in Sunday service.
  • Route 32 Commuter Lot/Snyder Hall/Clinical Center: The route will operate weekdays, 7 a.m. to 7:25 p.m., at a reduced frequency during the break. Buses will depart the MSU-CTC/Ramp 1 every 30 minutes, rather than every 15 minutes.

Spartan Service will resume Monday, March 9, on Routes 26, 30, 31, 32, 33 and 39, as well as Lot Link and Night Owl.
