CATA announces change to several Route 24 morning trips
Early-morning Route 24 riders will want to be at their bus stop earlier than usual beginning Jan. 7. CATA will implement a new weekday schedule on the East Lansing route that travels between Lake Lansing Meijer and MSU campus via Lake Lansing Road, Hagadorn Road and neighborhood roadways south of Saginaw Street.
The first three trips leaving Lake Lansing Meijer will depart 10 minutes earlier Monday through Friday. All stops on these three morning trips will depart 10-12 minutes earlier resulting in buses arriving on campus (at MSU’s Parking Ramp 5) sooner. All other trips throughout the week will depart at the current scheduled times.
When MSU is on break, the first trip departing MSU’s Ramp 5 will also depart five minutes earlier. This change will go into effect the week of March 4 in conjunction with spring break.
