Route 1 Downtown Lansing-Meridian Mall Map Description.
Effective August 21, 2006.
The following Route 1 detour is effective Saturday, July 5 and will continue into September. This route is detoured as follows:
Buses traveling from the CTC:
- Eastbound on Kalamazoo to Larch.
- Left (north) on Larch to Michigan.
- Right (east) on Michigan and resume route.
Buses traveling toward the CTC:
- West on Michigan to Capitol.
- Left (south) on Capitol and resume regular route.
Capitol Loop Trips
- West on Michigan to Washington.
- Right (north) on Washington to Ottawa.
- Left (west) on Ottawa - resume route.
EASTBOUND
Downtown Lansing to Meridian Mall.
- Eastbound bus departs the CTC on eastbound Kalamazoo Street to Grand Avenue.
- Left (north) on Grand to Michigan.
- Right (east) on Michigan to Clippert Street.
- Left (north) on Clippert from Michigan to Sellers.
- Right (east) on Sellers to Morgan Lane.
- Right (south) on Morgan Lane to Michigan.
- Left (east) on Michigan.
- East on Michigan to Grand River.
- East on Grand River to Okemos Meijer main entrance.
- Right (south) into Meijer by store.
- Left (east) at store to Marsh Road.
- Left (north) at Marsh to Grand River.
- Left (west) at Grand River to Meridian Mall entrance drive.
- Right (north) at Mall entrance drive to perimeter road.
- Left (west) at perimeter road to first right and parallel Mall Building
to Main Stop.
WESTBOUND
Meridian Mall to Downtown Lansing.
- Westbound bus departs the Mall Main Stop and travels west to the perimeter
road.
- Left (south) on the perimeter road to Mall entrance drive.
- Right (south) on the entrance drive to Grand River.
- Right (west) on Grand River to Michigan Avenue.
- West on Michigan Avenue to Morgan Lane (Frandor).
- Right (north) on Morgan Lane to Sellers.
- Left (west) on Sellers to Clippert.
- Left (south) on Clippert to Michigan.
- Right (west) on Michigan.
- West on Michigan Avenue to Grand Avenue.
- Right (north) on Grand to Shiawassee Street.
- Left (west) on Shiawassee to Capitol.
- Left (south) on Capitol.
Westbound Capitol Loop Routing.
- West on Ottawa from Capitol to Pine.
- Left (south) on Pine to Allegan.
- Left (east) on Allegan to Capitol.
- Right (south) on Capitol.
- South on Capitol to Lenawee.
- Left (east) on Lenawee to the CTC.
