University and School Partnerships
In addition to serving the region's educational facilities, CATA partners with local school districts and higher education institutions to provide tailored resources that enhance the transit experience during the academic year.
Michigan State University
Since 1999, CATA has served the MSU campus with dedicated routes during fall and spring semesters. Fare-free routes and on-demand service options provide 24/7 transportation across campus.
Lansing School District
In partnership with the Lansing School District, CATA offers enhanced routes to the district's high schools, customized resources to guide students and families, and in-person assistance to students at the CATA Transportation Center.

CATA Safe Place Program
CATA is licensed through National Safe Place Network to operate Safe Place®, a national outreach and prevention program for vulnerable youth.
