James Frendt
Director of Finance
Jim Frendt joined CATA in November 2020. As Director of Finance, he oversees all accounting and finance matters for the agency.
Jim has a broad background working in transportation and finance, which began with customer service, operations and management roles at Fedex. He then transitioned to a 15-year career in public accounting, where he specialized in work with governmental agencies including cities, counties and transportation authorities.
Jim earned a Bachelor of Science in business administration from Central Michigan University and is a certified public accountant. He is a member of the Michigan Association of CPAs.
