The Arts Shuttle

CATA is providing shuttle service for the East Lansing Art Festival and MSU Arts & Crafts Show May 17-18, 2025. Park for free at MSU's Commuter Lot 89 and ride CATA to both events. 

Buses will run approximately every 10-15 minutes between MSU Lot 89 on Farm Lane and stops on Grand River Avenue. All fixed-route buses are equipped with bike racks and wheelchair ramps or lifts.

2025 Park & Ride Service

Shuttle service operating hours:

  • Saturday, May 17, 2025 from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Sunday, May 18, 2025 from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Buses will run approximately every 10-15 minutes between MSU Lot 89 on Farm Lane and stops on Grand River Avenue.

  • Round-trip fare is 50 cents on any of The Arts Shuttle buses.
  • Exact change is required.
  • Children under 42 inches ride free with an adult.

  • Transfers to other buses can be made at boarding centers or stops on the route.
  • Request a free transfer ticket for any fixed-route from the driver on your first bus.
  • Transfers are valid for two hours and can be used twice in one direction.

Turn-by-Turn Directions

Inbound (Northbound)

  • Depart Lot 89 to Farm Lane
  • Left (north) on Farm to Grand River Avenue
  • Left (west) on Grand River to Michigan Avenue
  • Staying in the left 2 lanes, continue west on Michigan Avenue to Beal Street
  • Left (south/east) on Beal to Michigan Avenue (eastbound)

Outbound (Southbound)

  • East on Michigan Avenue to Grand River Avenue
  • Slight right, continuing east on Grand River to Farm Lane
  • Right (south) on Farm to Lot 89 Entrance
  • Right (west) at the Entrance to Lot 89, travelling counterclockwise around the parking lot back to Farm Lane
