CATA offers limited service on Easter Sunday
The Capital Area Transportation Authority (CATA) will provide limited holiday service on Easter Sunday, April 5, while all other services — Fixed-Route, Spec-Tran, Lot Link, Night Owl and CATA Rydz — will not operate.
Curb-to-curb service within the Spec-Tran service boundaries will be available to the general public from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. CATA will attempt to accommodate all ride requests. To view the service area map, visit the Holidays webpage.
Trips must be scheduled in advance March 22-April 1. No same-day trips will be permitted.
To reserve a ride, call 517-394-2282. The one-way fare is $2.50. Pay with cash (exact fare), debit or credit cards (tap-to-pay), Apple Pay or Google Pay, digital tickets and passes through the CATA Mobile Pay app or Transit app, or traditional Spec-Tran passes and tokens.
The Spec-Tran office will remain open Easter Sunday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. to schedule rides needed after the holiday. To schedule, call 517-394-2282, visit myspectran.cata.org, or use the MyRideCATA app.
