Hello again,
Another record sold out day at Soldier Hollow. Sounds like a broken record doesn't it?
I did learn a few things today though. I now know that we have at least 10 drivers from Michigan. We also have 13 Police officers volunteering as security here. So the state of Michigan is well represented here. I had an officer on my bus today who was from Holland. It was nice talking to someone from my home state.
I also had someone on my bus from Austria today. His comments to me were interesting. He said he felt as though he were back in Austria. With my black uniform and my German/Finnish heritage, he said I looked as though I could be a driver back in his home country.
Looking forward to seeing the ski jumping at Utah Olympic Park Thursday. Hopefully, will have some interesting things to report then.
