Happy Valentine's Day,
They met all the drivers with Hershey Kisses today. I have to say they are taking good care of us here. Soldier Hollow still maintains the reputation of having the best transportation in the whole system. The paper here even wrote up an article on us saying, "The transportation at Soldier Hollow runs like a well oiled clock.""
The controversy of 'skate gate' as it is being called here, continues. It is now rumored the French judge in the midst of the controversy has left town. Meetings are still scheduled to talk about what happened. The other night at the medals ceremony I attended, they had the pairs figure skating medal winners up on the stage. When the gold medal winning Russians came on the stage they received a good cheer, but when the silver medal winning Canadians came on the stage, the crowd went wild. It is obvious everyone here thinks the Canadians should have won.
