CATA to Introduce Service Changes
Lansing, MI—CATA will implement the following service changes
on Monday, January 10, 2005:
Route 7 buses will travel south of Jolly Road along Dunckel, Legacy
Parkway, Bell Chase and Pine Tree. Buses will no longer travel
on Five Oaks Drive, located west of Dunckel and south of Jolly.
Current departure times from the CATA Transportation Center remain
the same, however customers boarding the bus elsewhere on the route
should check the schedule timetable as some interim timepoints
will change on January 10th.
Route 9 buses will turn at the Waverly & Miller Road intersection
and no longer travel on Coachlight Common Street. Additionally,
buses will depart 10 minutes earlier on Saturday and Sunday so
customer transfers to other routes can be made more efficiently.
A new fixed-route will begin in Delhi Township with service along
Holt, Washington, Willoughby, Keller and Depot/Delhi N E Roads.
Route 19 will serve such destinations as Tamarack Apartments, Holt
Plaza, Holt 9th Grade Campus and High School, Great Lakes Homes
Housing Co-op, Lutheran Heritage Village and Cedar Park Shopping
Center. Service will operate weekday mornings from 6:30AM until
8:35AM and afternoons from 3:05PM until 4:50PM.
New print schedules for each of these routes are available in
schedule racks throughout the area and on CATA’s website. For
more information, please call CATA’s Customer Service Representatives
at 394-1000.
