CATA Student ID
CATA Student IDs are available through local middle and high schools free of charge. The ID allows students to ride at the discounted rate of 60¢ and to purchase discounted Student Passes. All students in grades 6 and above are eligible to receive a CATA Student ID. Learn more.
College Student ID
CATA accepts all valid college student IDs. Students who show their college ID are allowed to ride at the discounted rate of 60¢ and to purchase discounted Student Passes.
CATAClub Card
Anyone who is 62 years of age and older or has a disability is eligible to receive a free CATAClub Card. The card allows CATAClub members to qualify to ride at the discounted rate of 60¢ and to purchase discounted Value Passes. Applications are available at CATA’s Administrative Offices, 4615 Tranter Street; at the CATA Transportation Center (CTC), 420 S. Grand Avenue; or by calling (517) 394-1000. Applicants who qualify will receive either a Lifetime Membership Card (if 62 years of age or older or permanently disabled) or an Annual Membership Card (if temporarily disabled).
Medicare Card
Anyone showing a Medicare Card qualifies to ride at the discounted rate of 60¢ and to purchase discounted Value Passes.
ADA Card
Persons with disabilities who qualify for an ADA (Americans with Disabilities) Card may show their ADA Card to ride at the discounted rate of 60¢ and to purchase discounted Value Passes.
