Tap a debit or credit card, phone, or smartwatch. Any Visa, Mastercard, or debit card will be accepted, as well as Apple Pay and Google Pay on a compatible smartphone or smartwatch.
Contactless Payment on Buses
You can pay with your credit card or mobile wallet right on the bus. Just tap your card on the validator when you board. The fare comes off your card and you're ready to ride.
How it works:
● Look for the validator on the bus
● Hold your credit card or mobile wallet near the validator
● Wait for the beep and green light
● Get on board

Tap to pay works on all CATA services that have validators or tablets.
