Great Lakes Folk Festival

Ride for just 50-cents round trip fare when you board a Great Lakes Folk Festival bus or use your CATA fixed-route bus pass. Children 42" or less ride for free. If you pay with cash, you must use exact change. Transfers to other buses may be made at boarding centers or bus stops along the route. CATA fixed-route transfers are free. Just ask the driver for a transfer ticket when you board your first bus.

Route Details

The Great Lakes Folk Festival Bus Route will operate:

Friday, August 12th: 4:30 p.m. until 11:30 p.m.,

Saturday, August 13th: 11:00 a.m. until 11:30 p.m. and

Sunday, August 14th: 11:00 a.m. until 6:30 p.m.

Buses will run approximately every 10 minutes.

Turn-by-Turn Descriptions

Green Route

  • Left (east) out of Lot 91 onto Service Road to Hagadorn.
  • Left (north) on Hagadorn to Grand River.
  • Left (west) on Grand River to Delta.
  • Left (south) on Delta to Michigan.
  • Left (east) on Michigan to Grand River.
  • Continue east on Grand River to Hagadorn.
  • Right (south) on Hagadorn to Service Road.
  • Right (west) on Service to Lot 91.
  • Right (north) then left (west) in Lot 91. Pick up at island.

Red Route

  • Abbot Center
  • Left (south) on Abbot to Burcham.
  • Left (east) on Burcham to Snyder.
  • Right (south) on Snyder, veer right onto Collingwood.
  • Collingwood to Grand River.
  • Right (west) on Grand River to Harrison.
  • Right (north) on Harrison to Saginaw.
  • Right (east) on Saginaw to Abbot.
  • Left (north) on Abbot to Abbot Center (just north of Reno’s).
  • Right into 1st driveway of parking lot at Abbot Center. Pick up at front doors.
