Lansing, MI— Spartan Service—the additional bus service operating only during MSU fall and spring semesters—will not operate March 7th through March 13th. CATA will move to its base service schedule on several routes for the one-week period beginning Monday, March 7th while Michigan State University is on spring break.

CATA will make the following modifications in service (operate at a base level) during this week. Refer to the individual print or web route schedules for specific times.

Route 1 Downtown Lansing - Meridian Mall
Monday - Friday from 7AM until 2PM and Saturday from 11:30AM until 5:35PM buses will operate every 15 minutes rather than every 10 minutes.

Route 1 Late Night service will not operate on Friday and Saturday, March 11th and 12th. On these nights, the last bus will leave Meridian Mall at 10:55 PM en route to the CATA Transportation Center in downtown Lansing. CATA’s Entertainment Express trolley service will be available Thursday, Friday and Saturday night to customers needing transportation between downtown Lansing and downtown East Lansing between 7:30 PM and 2:30 AM.

Routes 20 - 25
During the break, all five routes will travel into the MSU-CATA Transportation Center across from Shaw Hall, while continuing to serve the Shaw and Farm Boarding area at the corner of Shaw and Farm Lanes. Routes 24 and 25 will continue to serve the Wharton Center bus stop.

Route 25 North Harrison
Weekday buses will operate every 40 minutes during the day and early evening rather than every 20 minutes.

Route 26 Abbot - Chandler
Monday - Friday, buses will operate every 40 minutes, rather than every 6-15 minutes, and conclude at 7:15 PM at the MSU-CATA Transportation Center/Ramp 1. There will be no Thursday, Friday or Saturday late night service to downtown East Lansing March 10th - 12th. Saturday service will end at 7:15 PM at the MSU-CTC/Ramp 1.

All MSU Campus Service (Routes 30-36, 39, Lot Link & Night Owl)
Regular campus service will operate until 2:30 AM Monday morning, March 7th, when Routes 32, 34, 35, 36 and Lot Link end service. Generally, all ten Spartan Service campus routes/services conclude for the break and do not operate March 7th through March 13th.
