Bus Service Changes Effective Monday, August 30, 2010

Fixed-Route Bus Service ChangesEffective Monday, August 30, 2010Route 1 Downtown Lansing – Meridian Mall- Saturday morning time adjustments.
Route 3 Willow – Lansing Mall- Fewer Capitol Loop trips weekday mornings.
Route 5 South Cedar – Edgewood- No Capitol Loop trips weekday mornings.
- Route change for buses traveling to downtown Lansing. Buses will travel Cedar to Kalamazoo to Cherry to Lenawee to the CTC and no longer travel St. Joe to Grand Avenue.
Route 7 Aurelius- Route changes north and south of Jolly Road. Buses will travel further south on Pine Tree to English Oak.
- Buses will no longer travel on Collins Road.
- Time adjustments at bus stops north and south of Jolly Road.
Route 8 Pennsylvania – Holt- Evening and weekend buses serve bus stops every 45 minutes rather than every 40 minutes.
Route 9 South Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd – Miller- Evening and weekend buses serve bus stops every 45 minutes rather than every 40 minutes.
Route 10 North Lansing – Turner- Added trips evenings and weekends as buses serve bus stops every 45 minutes rather than every 60 minutes.
Route 11 Waverly – Colonial Village- Time adjustment on the first trip en route to downtown Lansing.
Route 12 West Michigan – Waverly- Added trips evenings and weekends as buses serve bus stops every 45 minutes rather than every 60 minutes.
- Evening and weekend buses continue as Route 10 and not Route 14 at the CTC.
Route 14 North Grand River – Old Town – Airport (New Name)
- Added trips evenings and weekends as buses serve bus stops every 45 minutes rather than every 60 minutes.
- Buses no longer continue as Route 10 at the CTC.
Route 16 West Lake Lansing Road – Eastwood Towne Center- The 5:50PM weekday trip from Lake Lansing Meijer departs five minutes earlier at 5:45PM.
Route 22 MSU – Haslett – Meridian Mall- Buses departing MSU campus travel Farm Lane to Grand River Avenue and no longer travel Auditorium to Physics Road.
Route 24 East Lansing – East Lake Lansing Road- Buses departing MSU campus travel Farm Lane to Grand River Avenue and no longer travel Auditorium to Physics Road.
Route 25 North Harrison- Buses no longer serve bus stops at Brody Complex or Kellogg Center.
- Time adjustments at Lake Lansing Meijer throughout the week.
Route 26 Abbot – Chandler- Time adjustments on Fridays as buses serve bus stops every 15 minutes until 5:55PM.
Route 26 Late Night: Abbot – Chandler- Buses en route to downtown East Lansing travel a similar route as Route 26 — Burcham and MAC to and from Albert.
MSU Campus Bus Service ChangesEffective Monday, August 30, 2010Route 30 Wilson – East Complex (New Name)
- East campus route change – Buses travel to the new East Complex Boarding Area on the west side of Akers Hall and no longer travel to Fee, Hubbard, or Holmes Halls.
Route 31 Brody – East Complex (New Name)
- East campus route change – Buses travel to the new East Complex Boarding Area on the west side of Akers Hall and no longer travel to Fee, Hubbard, or Holmes Halls.
- North campus route change – Buses depart the MSU-CTC and travel west on Auditorium Road en route to the Union. Buses do not travel Physics Road until 7PM when the route switches to Grand River Avenue en route to the Brody Complex.
Route 32 Commuter Lot- Added weekend service – Buses serve the Commuter Lot 89 every 25 minutes from 9AM until 2AM Saturdays & Sundays.
Route 33 Campus Cruiser- North campus route change – Buses depart the MSU-CTC and travel Auditorium to Dormitory Road then turn around and travel west on Auditorium Road en route to the Union.
- South campus route change – Buses no longer travel on Red Cedar to Department of Police and Public Safety (DPPS) or Ramp 5.
Route 34 Brody – University Village- Adjustments to the schedule’s timetable reflect the 25 minute frequency at which buses will operate on the weekends.
Route 35 South Complex – Spartan Village (New Name)
- South campus route change – buses no longer travel to the Commuter Lot 89 (Route 32 serves Lot 89 on weekends) or to DPPS and Ramp 5 on Red Cedar.
- North campus route change – buses travel Red Cedar (north of Shaw Lane) to and from the MSU-CTC. Buses will no longer travel on Circle Drive.
- Adjustments to the schedule’s timetable were made to adjust for the changes in routing.
Route 36 East Complex (New Name)
- East campus route change – Buses travel to the new East Complex Boarding Area on the west side of Akers Hall and no longer travel to Fee, Hubbard, or Holmes Halls.
- Adjustments to the schedule’s timetable were made to adjust for the changes in routing.
Route 39 University Village – Spartan Village- Adjustments to the schedule’s timetable reflect the 20 minute frequency at which buses will operate weekdays until 7PM.
