Sandy Draggoo
CEO/Executive Director
Sandy Draggoo started her career at CATA in 1974 and has served as its Executive Director since 1984.
Her high standards of excellence and her outstanding leadership skills have led CATA to be named as one of the best transit systems in North America not once but twice. She has provided countless hours of service to numerous local, state, and national organizations.
Her leadership in the transportation field and her focus on community service has been recognized with prestigious awards, including:
- 2010 Michigan Women's Hall of Fame - 2010
- 2006 Sharon Banks Award for Innovative Leadership in Transportation - Transportation Research Board
- 2003 General Manager of the Year - American Public Transportation Association
- 1996 Professional Excellence Award for Alumnus - Spring Arbor College
- 1991 Diana Award for Business Achievement - Greater Lansing Chamber of Commerce
